A ticket to quarter final of the BCA Indonesia Open Superseries Premier 2017 is failed to be secured by Japan's Nozomi Okuhara after she was defeated in the second round on Thursday (15/6) by her compatriot, Akane Yamaguchi 21-15, 19-21 and 15- 21.

The result makes the record get narrower, 4-7, Okuhara still leads. Stated by Okuhara that the fourth defeat from Akane was because she was not at her best performance.

"Today I could not play at my best performance and I will try to perform better in the Australian Open next week," said Okuhara.

Admitted there is a little problem, Okuhara denied if it caused by injury.

"It was not the injury, I was not enjoying," said Okuhara. This defeat also makes her disappointed since she could not perform optimally.

"Not only was it just because of losing frim Akane, being defeated is always the same," Okuhara said.
