Trying to comply the coach's instruction by playing drive, Edi couldn't do well in applying the strategy, instead, he couldn't handle the counter attack.
“Playing around with net shots, I thought it was high enough but it turned out too low so it hit the net. There are things coming unexpectedly and this is what I haven't been able to anticipate," Edi said who is also registered in PB Djarum.
Edi/Gloria actually had a chance in the second game, especially when they were left behind in the beginning of the set. They took a lead but failed to maintain the momentum and finally losing the match.
“Perhaps we are ousted by experience. But at least we can tell based on the match that we are not really that poles apart from them. We have to stay focus in serves, among other things," Edi said.
